New story out!

Hello Readers,

Good news to share! My latest story, Singing Over Sour Remains, was published in June 2026 in Issue 27 of Zooscape. A parrot protagonist, their poetic songs of a beloved gibbon friend and lost family. Survival action with squirrels in a post-human landscape. A certain respect and hope we all need to carry on.

Zooscape is edited by Mary E Lowd, and I actually reviewed one of her books, Queen Hazel and Beloved Beverly on February 19th, 2024.

Before I go, it's been a while since I blogged on my writing work, so a brief confirmation that I am still hard at work despite *shakes fist at all the nonsense in the world*. I haven't stopped writing and subbing stories. I write and complete at least one story a month and send out 20 pieces a month on average. Not as much as previous years but at least I am consistent. The only thing you can do in this hopeless industry is be consistent and keep writing.
